Capital Sourcing

Are you lost in the forest of Private Equity firms? We can help. We know Private Equity.

Our researchers have manually visited all our private equity websites, and have met with numerous private equity representatives, we have a unique perspective that many others don’t. We know how they invest and what types of industries they are interested in.

We have partnered with a few select companies in specific industries to see if our database and consulting services would be of help to them and their industry.  We also consult with several full service investment banks providing our research services to them, so you know you are getting the cream-of-the-crop when dealing with us or our partners.

Here is how our process works:

1. Our partnering firms give us general information about a company.
2. We utilize our database and private equity industry knowledge to find a private equity firm looking for that type of business. (This will vary based on sales size, location, industry, etc.)
3. We let our partner know the name and a contact at a private equity firm and help our partner in discussing the potential opportunity with the selected Private Equity firm. (We are a data vendor, and are only in contact with our partnering firm. The PE firm might not be the best match for your needs. We are not an investment advisor, we don’t know your needs, we simply provide research services.)
4. Our partner contacts the private equity firm (with support from us if necessary) to begin the introduction process.
5. The private equity firm will request the name of the company, industry / products, and possibly some simple general financial data.
6. If the private equity firm thinks your company might be a good fit with them, then an initial meeting is set up.
7. The rest of the process varies by deal, but in general the private equity firm will start requesting data to do due diligence (they want to start learning about your business and its history).
8. Hopefully, if all goes well, an offer will be made. Keep in mind, this might not happen, and the offer might not be suitable to your needs.
