Capital Data Center

Welcome to the Capital Data Center

We have manually researched over 700 Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Angel Investors in the past, and have accumulated a list of over 2,300 from which to research and construct our database. We are now starting from scratch with lists obtained from the internet and our own industry knowledge to re-research and input all our data into a new complete customer solution.  We are starting from scratch because we feel that is best way to start a clean user interface – no legacy / old information will be input.  We want to make our database easy for our clients to use and thus can not just deliver a spreadsheet like many others.  Once complete, our inteface will provide real results for your Private Equity database needs, Venture Capital search needs, and we will also be creating a separate Angel Fund Database.  We can provide a sampling of the diversity of our database upon request (see below). Our sample will illustrate the need for a database but even more, will show the need for a company who knows how to utilize one to find capital sources.

The Capital Infinity Research Capital Data Center was created to provide us with detailed information about Private Equity, Venture Capital, and other funding sources such as Angel Investors. There are a dozen other sites that just list profiles of companies. We provide searchability using our custom Search Engine. Our database Search Engine is one tool we use to find capital sources with specific interests. We do not represent, nor are we affiliated with any company listed. We simply know how Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Angel Investors look at investments and compile data. There is much more to identifying proper investors than just obtaining a list.

We have surfed the Internet and have performed all the search engine searches for all the funding sources to build our internal database. We have not only done the searches, but listed the address, and investment criteria for all funding sources we found for our internal use, then created the Search Engine to allow us the opportunity to search our database of companies with ever changing information.

Why did we create Capital Data Center?

We simply got tired of the other 50 websites out there luring us to their site by offering a free list of capital sources, only to tout their database products and try to get us to buy access to their databases. Some of them offer more than others, but for the most part you can easily find an alphabetical list of capital sources along with their websites for free from several providers. In general, to get searchability of their database, you have to pay. Their databases also touted their complexity and how extensive they were, but in reality once you looked at the data they were providing, a lot of it is worth very little in terms of searching for capital for your business.

We just wanted to be able to search for specific capital sources by stage, type, amounts, and industry focus without paying an arm and a leg to do so. We thought a lot of other people would agree, so we started searching and building our own database.  Then we started thinking of other ways to deliver the results and started from scratch to rebuild our database into a customer results platform.

We already have a list of over 2,300 companies from which to build our database from, as well as many years of industry knowledge from which to draw. One thing of importance to our searches was making sure we could include as many potential investors as possible. Using normal search engines might find quite a few, but unless you hit the keywords correctly you are bound to miss some. That is what makes our database different. We are not dependent upon those magic keywords since we have already included almost all the possible sources.

To fill our Capital Data Center we simply started searching for Venture Capital, Private Equity, Angel Investors, Debt Financing, and other generic terms and kept adding names to our list. That process generated a list of sources that exceeds a lot of the other providers. We then searched for each company and manually visited their website – one-by-one. From there we extrapolated relevant information and tried to compile it into a meaningful database.

Using our Capital Data Center we are now able to find capital sources quickly, and then use that information to narrow down our search by revisiting the websites and looking for specific criteria that will vary by project. Our Capital Data Center is simply our first tool in finding capital sources. Quick, Easy, Direct – that’s the Capital Infinity difference.

Update: We have partnered with firms that offer Capital Sourcing services and as such now only allow custom searches run by us for a nominal fee as the only access to the Search Engine.  Soon we will be launching our complete database on a subscription basis as well, but for now only our research services are available.  For more information on how you can gain access to our Search Engine through our Research Services, please see our Subscriptions page.

Below you will find a listing of different samples of our database available as well as an email contact. Please request a specific sample type in your email request.
